Driver Helpline

All car and van leases include access to our dedicated driver helpline. Available 24/7 for breakdown and accident cover the Driver helpline is there for you when you need it. Giving you access to roadside assistance and more.

From 9 – 5.30 you can also contact us to book your service, and we’re your point of contact if you have taken out one of our Leasys Maintenance packages and you want to book your maintenance, repairs or tyre replacement.

Available 24/7 via your Driver Helpline, all Leasys Contract Hire agreements include UK & European Roadside Assistance, giving you the reassurance that help is never far away if you need it. In the case of an accident or breakdown for you or your drivers give the Driver Helpline a call.

Driver Pack

If you take a car or van lease out through Leasys you will receive a Driver Pack.* Packed full of essential items to get you on your way and keep you safe in the unlikely event of an emergency. Leasys Driver packs include:

• High-vis jacket
• Ice scraper
• Emergency LED flare
• Vinyl gloves
• Multi-adapter phone charger
• First aid kit

*Please note that the Driver Pack is not available to limited companies, rental businesses, or bodyshop customers.

Fines Management

All Leasys Contract Hire agreements include Fines Management, so you can control and optimise your budget.

How does it work?
Leasys will take care of all administration to ensure a hassle-free process for you. We handle all penalty, parking fines and congestion charges. This service manages your driver fines. A “transfer of liability” is facilitated, and you can rest ensured that we will keep you informed of the fine status. Pay and recharge are available depending on the nature of the fine.

What are the benefits for you?

• Save cost: no fine will be missed and overdue. We monitor them in a prompt manner.
• Save time: Fines Management helps you to reduce your admin time, so you can focus on other activities.

Road tax

The cost of your Road Tax (also known as Car tax, Road Fund Tax, Vehicle Excise Duty or VED) is included in your monthly rental. Leasys handles all arrangements, so you can enjoy hassle-free driving without worrying about car tax renewals or unexpected fees or charges. 

​Is VAT recoverable?​

The VAT is charged when a VAT-registered business sells to another business or to a private customer, and it includes the Road Fund Licence. If your business is VAT registered, you can therefore claim back:​

• For a car: 50% of the VAT on the Road Fund Licence​

• For a van: 100% of the VAT on the Road Fund Licence​​

You are responsible for any increase in the cost of such licence in accordance with the national rates revision. If there is a change in the cost from year to year, we will notify you and send you a recharge invoice for the difference which will be claimed by direct debit. Any unexpired licence remaining on the termination or expiry of the vehicle schedule will be the property of Leasys.
